To accommodate people with allergies to perfume the CCCE asks that attendees arrive scent-free for monthly meetings.

Going Global – Implementing a Learning Management System in exotic locales isn’t all Piña Coladas!

Globalization is a common buzzword in organizations today. Many of us have been challenged to extend our learning reach to new locations, whether through organic growth or acquisition. Deploying learning to new locales presents a number of new challenges:
• Technology and Infrastructure
• Culture and language
• Adapting local processes to a global system
Scotiabank is a global financial organization with operations in over 50 countries world-wide. Learning content is delivered in 3 languages – English, French and Spanish. This session will look at some of the challenges and lessons learned when rolling out an organization-wide Learning Management System (LMS) to different countries and cultures.
