Speaker Biography

Carey Franklin-McInnes, CTDP, is a versatile L&D professional passionate about learning strategy and creating engaging, innovative learning solutions. For over a decade, she has worked in the corporate L&D arena holding posts in facilitation, instructional design, learning consulting C_FranklinMcInnes1and strategy.  Currently, Carey is Senior Manager,  Leadership and Accelerated Development at TD Bank Group.
Her favorite past times include connecting learning strategy to talent management, performance support, process improvement and writing witty blog posts. She won a Gold Canadian Award for Training Excellence in 2014 and is the co-chair of the London & Area Institute for Performance and Learning chapter. Outside of work, Carey wrangles two busy boys, diverts her eyes from the mess all while trying not to swear excessively. She loves being active, reading and inspiring everyone to find a little sliver of fun in everything they do.
